Solution Architecture
HLDs, ADRs, C4 views, and reference architecture patterns.
Solution Architecture Management (/solutions) is where a specific
initiative's design gets worked out — as design alternatives, not just a
single proposal.

Solution Designs
Each solution has overview, alternatives, diagram, documentation, and review tabs.
- Design Alternatives Scoring — compare options on cost, risk, speed, and feasibility before committing to one
- SAM HLD Generator — produces 9-section, versioned High Level Design documents per solution
- Solution Architecture Coach — a guided wizard that ends in an ARB review package submission
C4 Views
/solutions/c4 generates system-context diagrams derived from applications,
dependencies, and personas.
Reference Patterns
/reference-architectures lets you browse and clone existing reference
architecture patterns instead of designing from a blank canvas every time.
Cloud Landscape
/cloud shows hosting distribution, approved patterns, and gap analysis,
backed by an AWS/Azure stencil catalog.
Architecture Principles
/principles is a principles registry with compliance checks — so a solution
can be checked against your organization's stated architecture principles, not
just reviewed informally.
Integration
CMDB/ServiceNow Sync enriches solution and application records with
inbound CI metadata, and the MCP API (/api/mcp) exposes read-only EA/SAM
data for AI tools.
